The Sea Ranch Lodge is a nature-centric resort 100 miles north of San Francisco that beautifully showcases the region’s stunning seaside landscapes. With its modern, practical and utilitarian design nestled along the breathtaking Northern California coast, this is an ideal retreat location for weddings and corporate events. We had the pleasure of staying there in August 2024 and it is truly magical.

We admire Sea Ranch’s relaxing environment, the natural salt air, wild untouched land, and thoughtful architecture. The remote coastal location feels like your very own private beach retreat, complete with modern conveniences and countless amenities. The design lives in harmony with the natural elements, keeping a good portion of the Sonoma County property wild and untouched.

The original designers embraced the concept of “living lightly on the land”, reflecting their deep respect for nature. The commitment to their original vision has fostered the evolution of an ‘intentional community,’ a unique sanctuary on the California coast as well as in the world.
